Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary
Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary is a wonderful nature experience. Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary has rescued hundreds of orphaned and injured seals since opening in 1974. Seals are nursed until they well enough to be released back into the wild. The Seal Sanctuary offers a permanent home for seals that will never make it in the wild. The seal hospital opened in 1989 and has now become too small for the large number of seals the Sanctuary rescues each year.
